“This song seemingly wrote itself for me. I was laying in bed past midnight when the chorus presented itself in full. The next day I sat down with it and created a very basic production outline; really just the bass and a beat idea. I handed it off to my producer RIKI who immediately understood my vision for the track and put his unique twist on the production.”
Arcana’s newest single highlights a personal flaw most of us can relate to: addiction. In this case, to a person. Not all interactions are healthy, but that doesn’t stop us from going back. ‘Back To You’ pulls listeners in with a catchy chorus that precedes a unique and modern electronic drop. Arcana debuts with seductive dark-pop single ‘Stockholm Syndrome’
ARCANA’s first single release ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ is a moody alt-pop tune guaranteed to leave you breathless and thinking about your toxic ex. This bass-heavy track circles around the moral dilemma of a poisonous relationship that tortures as much as it intoxicates.
It’s a strong start for ARCANA—twenty-something singer-songwriter from Los Angeles—establishing her sound as both moody and seductive. For this track she’s gone international to collaborate with Manchester-based producer, Chris Durkin, who specializes in atmospheric electro-pop.
